The police proceeded with the arrest of a man yesterday, based on a judicial warrant, in the context of investigating two arson cases of properties (a café and a restaurant) that occurred recently in the province of Nicosia.
According to the police, the man is 44 years old and has been placed under arrest to facilitate investigations. It is noted that he is expected to be brought before the Nicosia District Court today for the issuance of a detention order.
As reported, the arson attacks on the properties took place on February 10 and April 13, 2024.
