Hollywood actor John Malkovich will participate in a unique event exploring the history of Cyprus’ Berengaria Hotel on May 16 in Prodromos.
The twice-Academy Award-nominated Malkovich will be in Cyprus to present “The Infamous Ramirez Hoffman” at the Cyprus International Theatre Festival and will lead a tour and discussion focused on the abandoned hotel.
The Berengaria, once a luxurious resort in the Troodos Mountains, holds a significant place in Cypriot tourism and cultural history.
The event, exclusive to Festival Friends Club members, will offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore Berengaria’s legacy with the renowned actor.
The hotel, shrouded in local legends and a popular spot for ghost enthusiasts, operated from 1930 until its closure in 1984.
