In a press release, the Deputy Ministry noted that director-producer Stelana Kliris’ film “Find Me Falling” had been acquired by Netflix, the world’s largest streaming platform.

“This is a significant development for the film, its collaborators and producers,” the statement said. “It ensures its promotion and, by extension, the promotion of Cyprus to millions of viewers worldwide.” The release went on to congratulate the film’s team, and especially Kliris, for their vision and achievement. The internationally renowned actor Harry Connick Jr stars in the film, alongside strong performances from Agni Scott, Ali Fumiko Whitney and others.

“Find Me Falling” will begin streaming on Netflix on July 19th. The cinema release date will be announced at a later date.

Meanwhile, the film “Africa Star” by the award-winning director-screenwriter Adonis Florides has secured a place in the competition section of the 28th Sofia International Film Festival, where it will enjoy its world premiere on March 18th.
