An 18 year old has been arrested and remanded in custody following a brawl yesterday in Latsia that ended in the knife injury of another teenager, allegedly over cannabis.
He is facing charged of assault and injury, possession of a knife and cannabis.
Police were tipped off about the incident at a public park and rushed to the area.
Two knives and a quantity of cannabis were found in the 18 year old’s vehicle, while during the investigation, it was established that a 17 year old minor suffered a hand injury and was taken to the Nicosia General. He was treated and released.
The Latsia police precinct is investigating.
