Christodoulides to meet Estonian president

The President of Estonia, Alar Karis, who is on an official visit to Cyprus, will meet with the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, this morning.

According to statements by the Government Spokesperson, Constantinos Letymbiotis, yesterday, President Karis, who is on an official visit from the 26th to the 28th of March, will be at the Presidential Palace in the morning.

After the official welcoming ceremony, President Christodoulides and his Estonian counterpart will have a private meeting.

This will be followed by extended talks between the delegations of the two countries, and then the two Presidents will make statements to the media.

Subsequently, the Estonian President will visit the House of Representatives and then return to the Presidential Palace, where the President of the Republic will host an official lunch for him.

In the afternoon, they are expected to visit the Nicosia Municipality where the Estonian President will be guided along the ceasefire line.

President Karis will also visit the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), where he will participate in a Business Forum, as well as the University of Cyprus, and in the evening, he will attend a dinner hosted in his honour by the CCCI.

On Thursday, the President of Estonia is expected to visit the Committee on Missing Persons, the Cyprus Institute, and the Centre for Land and Marine Safety and Port Security, CYCLOPS, before departing from Cyprus in the afternoon.
