Relevant News

The Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth announced the commencement of registrations for the State Institutes of Further Education (KIE) for the new academic year 2024-2025. Registrations will take place at the respective State Institutes of Further Education from 13/05/24 to 14/06/24.

According to the announcement by the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth, the State Institutes of Further Education offer a range of afternoon/evening classes to students of all levels as well as adults, both in urban and rural areas. This provides equal learning opportunities and contributes to lifelong education.

The public can apply for registration or seek any other information about the services provided at the 46 KIEs, which operate nationwide and are housed in public primary and secondary schools.

Contact details for the local KIEs can be found on the KIE website: http://www.moec.gov.cy/kie, under the ‘School Catalogue’ section (http://www.moec.gov.cy/kie/katalogos_scholeion.html).

The tuition fees are as follows: For lower levels, €225 per year (€115 for children from large or five-member families), and for higher levels, €280 per year (€140 for children from large or five-member families). For nationwide examination courses, the tuition fees amount to €410 per year (€205 for children from large or five-member families).

Classes are expected to start in the first fortnight of September, and the end of classes and examinations will be in late May.
