Man critically injured after falling from second-floor bedroom

A 56-year-old man sustained critical injuries after falling from the second floor of a residential building in Paphos in the early hours of Friday morning.

According to police, the incident occurred around 5:30 am local time, when the man, a permanent resident of Cyprus, fell from the window of his bedroom, situated on the second storey of a three-storey building.

He fell into the courtyard below and suffered severe injuries.

Emergency services were called to the scene, and the man was promptly transported to Paphos Hospital, where he remains under treatment.

Police have sealed off the area and are conducting further examinations to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Initial reports suggest that the man shared the apartment with his twin brother.
