Limassol knife attack linked to financial dispute

It appears that financial disputes may be behind the knife attack in Limassol.

According to the complainant, the perpetrator was his former roommate.

According to the Police, around 22:00 last night, a 28-year-old went to Limassol General Hospital with superficial stab wounds in various parts of his body.

The 28-year-old stated that his injuries were caused by a knife following an attack he suffered half an hour earlier while in the area of ​​Agios Ioannis in Limassol.

As reported, the perpetrator is a compatriot with whom he used to live in the past, and the reason for the attack was debts he had with the perpetrator.

The victim received First Aid and was subsequently discharged.

He then pointed out to Limassol CID members the location of the attack, where on-site examinations were conducted.

Investigations are ongoing, and efforts are being made to ascertain the perpetrator’s identity.
