A fire broke out in two vehicles in the industrial area of Yeroskipou in the early hours of Tuesday, resulting in their complete destruction, while a third vehicle suffered minor damages.
According to Assistant Police Operations Director in Paphos, Michalis Nicolaou, at around 1:45 in the early morning, information was received that a fire had broken out in vehicles in the Geroskipou industrial area.
The fire was extinguished by the Fire Service, Nicolaou stated.
Two vehicles were destroyed by the fire, while a third suffered extensive damages.
The two destroyed vehicles belong to a 49-year-old permanent resident of Cyprus, who owns a vehicle repair garage at the location, while the third vehicle, which suffered minor damages, was under the care of a neighboring garage for repair purposes.
The scene was cordoned off, and investigations are expected to be carried out in the daylight to determine the cause of the fire.
