Two Britons — a permanent resident and a tourist — have been found dead in Paphos within hours of each other in two unrelated cases, philenews reported on Tuesday.
Foul play is not suspected in either case, it added.
It said that in the first instance, a 45 year old Briton was found dead in his apartment after his brother contacted police from the UKÂ yesterday.
He said he had not been able to reach his brother since the end of February and expressed concern, saying his brother suffered from health problems.
Police visited the apartment and found the man dead on the floor of the bathroom. They have ruled out foul play and say the death was due to natural causes.
In the second instance, a 73 year old Briton who was on holiday with his wife in Paphos was found unconscious in his hotel apartment. He was taken to Paphos Hospital by ambulance where doctors pronounced him dead.
Police have ruled out foul play. The exact cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
