A piece of an iron metal which fell on the Nicosia-Limassol highway due to the prevailing strong winds early on Wednesday has caused the closure of the left lane – by the Halepianes exit point, specifically.
This is what Traffic Police announced , adding that the piece of iron metal fell just after the bridge where road works are carried out. Only the left land has been closed, temporarily.
Drivers are advised to be extra careful, and patient.
