A car park near Paphos Gate in Nicosia became the scene of an unusual incident when a man from the occupied side allegedly launched an unprovoked stone-throwing attack on vehicles.
The incident, which occurred on April 26, caused damage to several vehicles.
According to philenews, the man who was standing in the occupied part of the capital started hurling stones at cars parked in the Republic of Cyprus-controlled area.
Vehicle owners have filed a complaint with Cypriot police, who did not immediately respond.
A United Nations patrol visited the scene of the incident.
