Eurotoire Circuit music masterclasses

Relevant News

Co-funded by the European Union, Eurotoire Circuit (EUCT) is the third and biggest edition of Eurotoire, led by Louvana Records (Cyprus), Arda (Portugal) and Mediatone (France) – a programme aiming to bring together and elevate artists from the three countries.

The agenda includes masterclasses, songwriting, production and recording sessions, an album release and live performances at well-established European venues and festivals.

Having observed an undeniable lack of capacity-building actions and circulation of artists across the three countries, Cypriot record label and event producer Louvana Records joined forces with Portuguese academy and recording studio Arda and French event producer Mediatone to offer just that in each of their countries.

The project’s first stage will see the three partner countries each hosting a 4-day capacity building program, instructed by international industry professionals who will conduct masterclasses on topics such as networking and promotion, preparation for the studio and live gigs, as well as music rights and royalties.

The masterclasses will take place this year in Nicosia, Cyprus (30 April – 3 May), Lyon, France (21-24 May) and Porto, Portugal (6-9 June). Each set of masterclasses will be followed by online one-to-one mentoring sessions with each of the industry professionals, giving personalised and constructive mentorship to every participant.

Artists can apply now through the official EUCT website – a total of 48 artists will be selected, 16 from each country, to take part in the masterclasses and potentially move onto the second stage of the programme – the creation and release of an album.

Upon the completion of the masterclasses, and based on the potential and drive each participant will have shown, one participant from each country, joined by a second artist selected by each partner, will be selected to form a team of six. The team will come together to co-write an album in Cyprus, produce and record it in Portugal, promote it and perform it in festivals and events in all three countries.

Artists from each country are eligible to submit an application by March 31st. Successful applicants will be informed by April 12th. Information and eligibility requirements at eurotoire.com.
