The Police made eight arrests for the attempted murder of 34-year-old Dimitris Andronikou, known as “Dimitroui,” which occurred on the Palaihorio-Anthoupolis road on April 23.
Among those arrested are two 28-year-olds, a 31-year-old, a 39-year-old, a 48-year-old, and a 49-year-old. Additionally, two more individuals, aged 28 and 30, were arrested shortly afterward to assist with the investigation.
According to the Police, several houses were searched, and evidence was collected, which is currently being evaluated.
It is recalled that the 34-year-old was shot three times after leaving the Lakatamia police station, where he had gone to visit two friends who were detained as suspects in the arson of two betting shops last week in Nicosia, both belonging to the same company.
