Ed Sheeran has set a new box-office record in Cyprus with the sale of 21,863 tickets within the first 24 hours of ticket availability for his upcoming 2024 concerts in Larnaca.
According to Ticketmaster, the sales frenzy commenced at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 10, and by the same time the following day, fans had snatched up an astonishing number of tickets.
The Ticketmaster Cyprus website experienced an overwhelming surge in traffic, with more than 9,800 fans securing their spots for the much-anticipated concerts during the first few hours.
For the scheduled Saturday, September 7 concert, tickets for the Standing Terraces and Tiers A & D are already completely sold out. Limited availability remains for the two Grand Stands (Seated Areas) on the inaugural day of the concert.
Sheeran will perform for the first time in Cyprus, at the Larnaca Marina on September 7 and 8, 2024.
