The Cyprus National Men’s Gymnastics Team has made history by securing a place in the Team All-Around Final at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
Their strong performance in the qualification round propelled them to an impressive 8th-place finish.
Marios Georgiou was a standout performer, topping the Individual All-Around rankings with a score of 84.265.
Ilias Georgiou also delivered an excellent showing, securing 10th place with a score of 82.066.
Georgiou’s exceptional performance didn’t stop there. He claimed gold in the Individual All-Around and qualified for three event finals: high bar, parallel bars, and pommel horse.
This achievement also marks his third qualification for the upcoming Paris Olympic Games.
