Disruption and removal of his pre-election campaign banners in Ypsonas are denounced by the candidate for Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Western Limassol, Cleanthes Karamanides.
In a video posted on his personal Facebook account, Karamanides states that a closed-circuit surveillance system captured the suspects and that he will lodge a formal complaint with the Police.
Moreover, as he notes, the perpetrators sent him a message in an envelope, urging him to vote for their deputy candidates. “The tactics of the past will not prevail. If you think that by stealing all my banners you will win the elections, you are mistaken. The people will send you a message on June 9th,” he emphasizes in his post.
