Three people, aged 25, 26, and 32 have been arrested in relation to an incident of attack against a policeman and a doctor outside the ER Department of the Limassol General Hospital.
According to the Police, just after midnight a member of its force that was duty at the hospital went to the ER because of an incident. Several people were shouting there and the policeman approached them and asked them to stop, which they did.
They got into a car parked outside but one of them started insulting the policeman and the doctor on duty so he was arrested. While the policemen got in the car to immobilize him, the driver started the car and was driving at a high speed with the door open and the policeman in. When the car finally stopped another young man attacked and punched the policeman so he was also arrested.
More members of the police were called on the scene.
