A six and a 12 year old were saved from drowning in Limassol on Thursday afternoon. The Limassol Life Guards Association said that the incident occurred opposite the GSO stadium and could have developed into a double drowning.
Around 4.30 pm on Thursday, lifeguards saw through their binoculars two children aged six and 12 struggling to remain above water after diving into the sea from the wave breakers
Using a rescue jet ski they were able to bring them back to shore safely.
