Police said on Monday that a week-long road safety campaign is underway focusing on motorbikes and mopeds.
This is the second such campaign this year.
Special emphasis will go to averting offences such as dangerous driving, failure to wear a helmet, speeding and driving without a driver’s licence.
Police said that in the period 2014 to 2018 , one in two bikers killed in road collisions were not wearing a helmet.
