Candidates for the municipal districts of Erimi, Kato Polemidia, and Sotira in the Municipality of Western Limassol have been declared deputy mayors.
It is noted that for all three, there was only one candidacy.
The candidates are Andreas Arestis, Deputy Mayor of the Erimi municipal district, Sofoklis Georgiou, Deputy Mayor of the Kato Polemidia municipal district, and Nikos Nicolaou, Deputy Mayor of the Sotira municipal district.
The three presented themselves on Friday afternoon at the office of the Acting District Officer and Electoral Officer of the Limassol Electoral District, Elektra Panayiotou, after the deadline for objections had passed.
It should be noted that according to the Municipalities Law, until the elections, the position of three community leaders will be assumed by the vice president of the Community Council of each respective district.
