Paphos police are investigating the burglary of a house in the Tombs of the Kings area and the theft of a car.
The complaint was filed by a 26 year old Cypriot yesterday evening.
He told police that when he was away from home, burglars had broken in, taken the keys of the car which was parked outside and then driven off with the car which belongs to his mother and is worth €16,000.
As part of their investigations, police are looking at CCTV from the area and taking statements from neighbours.
