A 49 year old man from the Nicosia district is under arrest for drunk driving.
The man was stopped in Kokkinotrimithia at around 11.55 pm on Wednesday night.
He tested positive for alcohol with 96 mg%, nearly five times the 22 mg% legal limit.
He was arrested as Kokkinotrimithia police continue their inquiries.
