A light earthquake was recorded in Cyprus early on Wednesday – mainly felt in the coastal Limassol district.
It measured 3.3 on the Richter scale, according to the Euro Mediterranean Institute which reported no significant damage or injuries.
The epicenter of the seismic activity was in the south of the city.
The tremor, which shook at 7:00 am local time, only lasted a few seconds.
