Limassol Court on Saturday ordered a 41 year old man suspected of cultivating cannabis plants in the bedroom of his five year old daughter remanded in custody for four days.
The suspect was arrested on Friday after police searched his home and found 21 cannabis plants in the child’s bedroom. They also found 15.5 grams of cannabis, precision weighing scales and an air rifle for which he did not have a permit.
The suspect told police that the cannabis was medicinal and he was cultivating it for his own use.
