The Police remind that today, on the day of Green Monday, when the public is expected to move en masse on the road network to go to the countryside and the coastal areas for the events of the day, they have taken particularly increased measures, with priority for the safety of citizens.
According to a statement, the presence of members of the Police on motorways, interurban roads, and main roads will be conspicuous, to prevent road collisions and to regulate traffic.
The presence will also be visible at places of assembly to ensure the safety of the public.
In addition, the Police are taking additional measures to prevent crime, particularly offenses against property, such as burglary, theft, and robbery, with foot and motorized patrols, in cities and the countryside.
