An 18-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition at the Nicosia General Hospital after a road collision that occurred yesterday afternoon in Ayia Napa.
Specifically, around 7.15 on Saturday afternoon, a car driven by a 59-year-old man heading from Ioannina Street to Kokkininon Street in Ayia Napa, at some point on the road, under circumstances under investigation, collided with the motorcycle driven by the 18-year-old.
The collision injured the motorcycle driver, who was initially transferred to Famagusta General Hospital, and then due to the severity of his injuries, it was deemed necessary to transfer him to Nicosia General Hospital.
The 18-year-old’s state of health is described as critical.
The Famagusta Traffic Police and Ayia Napa Police Station are continuing their investigations.
