Unprompted investigation regarding a video released to the public, depicting an individual assaulting a woman, has been initiated by the Police, stated Christos Andreou, the Force’s spokesperson.
Furthermore, he noted that “confirmed” statements and testimonies regarding cases under investigation concerning the Holy Monastery of Saint Habakkuk come under scrutiny, and have been made public.
When asked about any developments in the investigations concerning the cases involving the Holy Monastery of Saint Habakkuk, Andreou mentioned that both investigative teams set up are continuing their inquiries at an intense pace.
He also stated that the Police have initiated an unprompted investigation regarding a video released to the public depicting an individual assaulting a woman.
“We have initiated an unprompted investigation into apparent offenses that seem to have been committed,” he said.
Andreou also commented on certain statements and testimonies that have come to light, concerning individuals allegedly involved in the cases under investigation, stating that “confirmed statements have not leaked from the Police.”
