The victim of today’s shooting in Anthoupoli had just left the Lakatamia police station before he was attacked, according to philenews.
The victim had reportedly gone to the station to visit a friend who was being held in police custody.
Just 500 meters from the police station, as the victim was driving towards Nicosia, the suspects, who had been following him, struck.
The passenger on the motorcycle opened fire, hitting the victim in the neck.
The victim was rushed to the Nicosia General Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
