The victim of today’s shooting in Anthoupoli has been revealed to be in critical condition at the Nicosia General Hospital.
Police sources indicate that two suspects on a motorcycle followed the victim before one of them opened fire at close range.
According to information, two of the shots struck the motorcycle of the victim while one struck him in the neck.
The shooting occurred near the Lakatamia police station in broad daylight.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, where his condition is considered critical.
The scene has been cordoned off by police, who are conducting an investigation.
CCTV footage from the area is being examined to determine if the movements of the victim and the would-be killers were captured.
