The Education Ministry said on Monday that it was ready to start transfers of the €750 allowance to students who have remained abroad for Easter and who have submitted an application.
It said that in order to complete the process, all those who have submitted an application and been initially approved will receive an SMS that will direct them to the platform where they will complete a solemn statement that they are abroad.
On completion of this statement, the ministry will transfer the funds to the account given by the applicant.
No funds will be transferred if the solemn statement is not completed, it said.
