The President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides met with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, in Athens on the occasion of the 15th Congress of the New Democracy.
In a private meeting between the two, the main topic of discussion was the management of the increased migratory flows from Lebanon in recent days and specific ways to prevent this phenomenon through more active EU involvement.
