A multitude of citizens in all cities were there, once again walking in the framework of the 49th Christodoula’s Walk and supporting the work of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society.

The Christodoula’s Walk took place simultaneously in all cities and gathered citizens of all ages.

The kickoff began in Limassol on April 7th from the Molos, and in other cities on April 14th.

The start of the Walk was given at the Arodafnousa Relief Care Centre in Nicosia, in Larnaca from the podium at Phinikoudes, in Famagusta from the Deryneia Municipality, and in Paphos, the walk started from the Paphos Municipality.

The Christodoula’s Walk is the largest awareness campaign of the Cypriot society on issues related to cancer.

During the opening ceremony of the Christodoula’s Walk in Nicosia, Adamos Adamou, President of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society, expressed the Society’s profound emotion for Cypriot society.

“With all of you as our allies, we are increasingly enabling a greater number of patients to access quality Relief Care services whenever and wherever they need them. Services that comprehensively address the needs of both patients and their families, aiming to improve their quality of life,” emphasized Adamou.

The Cyprus Bank has been a loyal ally of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society for 26 years, consistently standing by the Society and actively supporting its every effort. In his greeting, the CEO of the Cyprus Bank, Panikos Nicolaou, assured that “within the context of our ever-growing social contribution, we were, are, and will continue to always be here as supporters and companions. Alongside the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society and every fellow citizen with cancer experience.”
