The effort by DISY and other parties to lower taxes for middle-income families was deemed ineffective by the Minister of Finance.
Speaking on the midday show of ANT1, Makis Keravnos said that the effort being made within Parliament while tax reform is underway is ineffective.
Referring to “piecemeal actions,” he said that as elections approach, we see such proposals, which are close to populist approaches.
The rational thing is for no one to play games either with the economy or with society, he added.
