Strict recommendations by Health Ministry regarding mandatory quarantine

Relevant News

The Health Ministry issued strict recommendation after being briefed by the Tracing Group that recently people who have tested positive to SARS-CoC-2 do not complete the mandatory 14-day period either at the orders of their physician or at their own initiative.

So, it is reminded that

  1. After a person tests positive to a rapid antigen test of PCR test, the person needs to immediately remain in self-isolation, to inform his personal doctor, and wait for a phone call from the Ministry of Health with instruction. It is noted that the said person should not visit another test point so as not to spread the virus.

The personal physician is responsible of monitoring the health of the patients and to release them from self-isolation but not before 14 days from the date they have tested positive.

Close contacts of confirmed cases are being informed and they all have to undergo a PCR test. If the contacts test negative they can leave the self-isolation after 10 days.
