Nicosia’s traffic monitoring will expand on Friday, May 3, with six new fixed cameras.
Four cameras will be installed at the junction of Athalassas – Akropoleos and Iosif Chatzijoseph Avenues, monitoring red light violations, crossing white lines, and speeding.
Two additional cameras on Archangelos Avenue will focus on speed limits and other automated traffic violations.
Authorities emphasise that the goal of this photo-enforcement system is to promote road safety, reduce serious accidents, and encourage responsible driving habits.
