Famagusta district court on Wednesday sentenced a 26 year old man to three months in jail after finding him guilty of a series of traffic offences committed in Ayia Napa on January 28, 2018.
The young man, a third country national and a resident of the free Famagusta district, was found guilty of reckless driving leading to an accident and driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was also driving with a learner’s licence without being accompanied by a qualified person and moreover did not have insurance, MOT and road tax and his headlights were not switched on.
