Cypriot ‘STILL!’ Travels to Uzbekistan and Hungary

Uzbekistan and Hungary are the next stops on the international tour of the Cypriot production ‘”‘STILL! – A Statue That Traveled the World’.

The performance – which premiered in 2021 as part of the International Festival of Nicosia – has so far travelled to Armenia, Tunisia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, and Greece. It also won the ‘Best Performance’ award at the online program of the International Children’s Theatre Festival of China’s National Theatre.

On 29th April, the show will be presented at the State Theatre for Young Audiences in Tashkent, as part of the 1st International Theatre Festival for Children, co-organised by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan.

A few days later, on 8th May, ‘STILL!’ will participate in the 11th Biennale of Theatre for Children and Young People in the city of Kaposvár, Hungary. The performance will be presented at the renowned Gergely Csiky Theatre, with its participation in the Biennale supported by the CULTURE program of the Ministry of Culture.

The performance ‘STILL! – A Statue That Traveled the World’ is a story by Stavros Stavrou, directed by Kostas Silvestros and Panagiotis Tofi, with music by Thodoris Economou.
