46th Drama International Short Film Festival on the road: Limassol, Nicosia, Larnaca and Paphos!

Relevant News

This year too, Drama International Short Film Festival is travelling to Cyprus, showcasing its awarded short films and offering to the cinephile audience of our island a unique opportunity to watch a swirl of fascinating shorts with free entrance.

The event is organised by the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Culture, the Rialto Theatre and DISFF in collaboration with the Friends of Cinema Society – Nicosia, Larnaca Cinema Society, Paphos House of Arts and Letters and the Limassol Cine Club.

The DISFF, Greece’s most established short film festival, takes place annually in September and, in the frame of its “DISFF on the road” programme, screens its shorts across Greece, Cyprus and the world, disseminating the work of young talented filmmakers.

Just like every year, Festival representatives and film directors of the awarded short films will be attending the screenings, followed by a Q&A session with the audience. Specifically, the DISFF artistic director Yannis Sakaridis, as well as film directors Neritan Zinxhiria (Light of Light), and Alexis Koukias Pantelis (Aerolin) will also be attending in person.

It is worth noting that, amongst the awarded short films, the Cypriot short Buffer Zone directed by Savvas Stavrou, will also be screened.
