Nicosia’s vegans have found their new paradise. A cute shop dressed in green which makes exclusively vegan dishes, sweets and drinks. ‘Eating exclusively with plant foods is not a sacrifice but a pleasure’ says Ariadne who with her husband George Adamidi have been turning their back on animal products for four years, following a strict vegan diet. Legumes, vegetables and agricultural products, have been studied for their nutritional value and then used to inspire their own recipes. On the menu we will find a Greek salad with homemade vegetarian ‘feta’, salad with walnut tacos on a veil of green vegetables and sour cream dressing, wrap with ‘tuna salad’, a signature burger that bears the store’s signature and more than holds up its own among the best burgers in town and finally, Hausbrandt coffee which is the basis for their hot and cold drinks.
