Early on the morning of Friday, April 26, Silia Kapsis, who will represent Cyprus in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, was spotted at the Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, from where she departed for Malmö, Sweden.

“I feel very happy and excited, I can’t wait. There’s a bit of anxiety, but I’ll be relaxed,” the 17-year-old said in a statement to “Breakfast@Star” camera.
Cyprus will compete in the first half of the first semi-final of this year’s Eurovision. Predictions on the official website, eurovisionworld.gr, place “Liar” outside the top ten, with a likely 24th place according to the betting odds.
The song “Liar” was composed and produced by Dimitris Kontopoulos.
