PEACE FESTIVAL is a cultural project created by Ukrainians to tell about Ukraine to the people of Cyprus who helps refugees these days. PEACE festival joins open-air cinema, unique fashion art installation and show, charity fair, flashmob, concert, and numerous workshops and entertaining opportunities for people of any age. Our goal is to introduce Ukrainian culture to Cyprus residents and guests of this island.
PEACE FESTIVAL program includes:
– charity fair
– creative workshops for children and adults
– music concert
– spectacular flash mob “Children for PEACE”
– art expositions with scenes from Ukranian life
– fashion performance from the famous Ukrainian designer Nadya Dzyak
– the open-air cinema of Ukrainian movies.
Bellowed b Cypriots hand made brands of jewelry, sweets, and beauty products will participate in the fair with their stalls – puffoni jewelry made from pearls and Italian Murano glass, jewelry_4_soul with brooches made from beads and felt, flower by barba_flower. All participants will donate income from sales to support Ukraine.
During the day all guests may enjoy art performances made by Iryna Chayka and Liubov Panchenko. These Ukrainian painters will create paintings inspired by famous Ukrainian artists through the years – from traditional Petrykivka decorative paintings to Maria Prymachenko inspirational folk art. Every guest of the festival can join and create in collaboration with artists.
Famous Ukrainian Designer NADYA DZIAK (resident of Paris Fashion Week, Dubai Fashion Week, and Ukrainian Fashion Week) will create a special art installation out of numerous lightweight details.
The festival will end with an open-air cinema with awarded Ukrainian short film screenings and “Anticipation | Peredchuttya” movie show which was originally presented at Berlinale International FilmFestival in 2020.
