Ingredients:
For the soutzoukakia:
500 gr mixed minced pork and chicken
2 tablespoons parsley chopped (optional)1 onion finely chopped
½ teaspoon of grated cumin

For the sauce:
2 cups tomato juice
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 onion grated
1 clove of garlic (mashed)
½ teaspoon of cumin
1 pinch of sugar

Method
Step 1:
Knead the minced meat with all the ingredients until they are mixed evenly. Make small balls, spread them on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 25 minutes.
Step 2:
For the sauce: In a small saucepan, add the olive oil and cook the onion and the garlic. Add tomato juice, cumin, sugar, salt and pepper. Lower the heat and bake for 10 minutes.
Step 3:
Pour the sauce over the baked soutzoukakia, mix carefully and serve.
Tip:
You can serve soutzoukakia either with pasta or with rice.
