Cyprus is celebrating its first gold medal in the 18th Mediterranean Games in Tarragona after Marios Georgiou clinched first place in the Artistic Gymnastics discipline, in the Men’s Individual All-Around Final.
According to the Cyprus Olympic Committee, 19-year-old Georgiou won the gold medal with 84,050 points, followed by French athlete Julien Gobaux in second place, and Turk Ahmet Onder in third place.
Georgiou scored a total of 84,050 points, namely Floor 13,950 points, Pommel Horse 14,650, Rings 13,750, Vault 14,200, Parallel Bars 13,650, and Horizontal Bar 13,850.
