A 28-year-old man from Congo was fatally stabbed late on Monday following an altercation outside a kiosk in the Nicosia suburb of Engomi.
Police also said on Tuesday that two men, also from Congo, have been arrested.
And that two men got into an altercation that turned physical, with the victim eventually being stabbed in the back and falling to the ground.
The incident took place around 10pm and the death of the man was instant, police also said.
