The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for a combination of rain and isolated thunderstorms starting at midnight this evening, through to four tomorrow afternoon, for most of the voting period on election day.
The phenomena will be more intense during the first half of the warning period, with hail also expected at intervals.
The total amount of rain over this time is expected to go over 55 milimeters.
