A yellow alert for extremely high temperatures is in effect for tonight as these are set to reach a minimum of 26°C inland.
The alert is in effect from 10 pm Thursday night to 6am Friday morning, according to the Mediterranean island’s Meteorological Service.
The weather will be mainly fine with temperatures set to rise to a minimum of 26°C in the south and east coasts, and 25°C in the mountains.
