Parts of the Macheras Forest and the Kionia picnic site are dressed in white, captured here by the lens of George Constantinou and posted on the Facebook page of the Forestry Department for all to enjoy.
The Macheras National Forest there are nature study trails (one of them designed to be used by visitors using wheelchair), it notes.
The area is also the source for Cyprus’ Pedieos and Gialia rivers, as well as smaller streams such as Pentaschoinos and Maroni.
