Troodos was covered in snow on Thursday, with residents reporting snowfall that started around 01:30 am.
On Olympus peak the accumulation of snow is around 2 cm.
According to the Met office snowfall in Troodos will continue throughout the day and is expected to also affect mountain areas of Limassol.
Police says that the road from Troodos square to Olympus peak is open only for cars with snow chains and four-wheel drives.
