In a twitter, the US Embassy in Cyprus announced the arrival of a US frigate at the port of Limassol.
The posting noted: “The USS Cole frigate arrived in Limassol Port last week for a scheduled port visit while operating in the Sixth Fleet area of operations. The United States is proud to contribute to peace and security efforts in the Eastern Mediterranean.”
